Prayer Spaces
We encourage children to use our reflection spaces both inside and outside of the school building to spend some quiet moments with God.

All of our children are involved in planning and leading parts of our celebration of the word. Some reflections are recorded by the children in our class big books.

Around the school, the children are reminded of the gospel messages. Each display shares a scripture message and a prayer to encourage self reflection.

Stations of the Cross
During Lent, every class visits St Thomas' church to reflect on the Stations of the Cross. The children are encouraged to have time to reflect on the events leading up to Jesus' death and what they mean for us today.

Visio Divina
Each term, we spend time in quiet reflection called visio divina where we use a piece of sacred art to facilitate a meditative and powerful prayer experience. The children are encouraged to recall what they can see in the image and what message God might be saying to them through this image.
